Bluegrass Week

Next Bluegrass Week:

To Be Announced!

Escape to the beautiful hills of Tennessee to study with the world’s finest bluegrass players. In this fun and intensive workshop, students choose singing or an instrument for small group instruction and jamming.

Afternoons bring elective classes and Band Lab, where students are coached in playing and singing for the camper concert at the Station Inn in Nashville.  Beginners are welcomed in bass and singing classes.  Other instrumental students should have a year of playing experience.

NashCamp’s gourmet meals are catered by Jamie Protich and The Front Porch Restaurant and comfortable lodging is provided at Camp Marymount, just a short drive from Nashville.  Total enrollment is limited to insure small, intimate classes.

In addition to morning instrumental class instruction, students take elective workshops in the afternoons.  For example, these electives have been offered at previous NashCamps:

  • Songwriting
  • The Nashville Number System
  • Care of Stringed Instruments
  • Improvising on the Melody
  • Instrument Set-up
  • Building Repertoire / How to practice & Improve faster
  • Harmony Singing
  • Music as a Business
  • Bass Petting Zoo
  • Music Theory for Bluegrass Pickers
