A native of Illinois, Cindy grew up playing music with her family. One of her earliest jobs was as a singer/banjo player on the steamboat Julia Belle Swain, and it was during this time that she had the good fortune to become friends with revered singer/songwriter John Hartford and his wife Marie, who convinced her to move to Nashville to find work. She is “Cindy’s learning to steer…” in John’s Julia Belle Swain song on the Grammy winning MARK TWANG album. Sinclair followed Hartford’s advice, but first she took care of some minor formalities: She received a double BA in Music and Theatre, Southern Illinois University.

A member of AEA, SAG – AFTRA, and the Directors Guild of America, Cindy’s credits speak for themselves. Her production resume includes American Idol, The Beatles: The Night That Changed America, The Grammy Awards, The Latin Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, The NARAS MusicCares Tribute to Elton John, Sting and Bono, The CMA Awards, CMA Music Festival, Miss Universe, Miss USA, Video Game Awards, Steinway’s 150th Anniversary at Carnegie Hall, Faith Hill’s FIREFLIES for NBC, Kenny Chesney SOMEWHERE IN THE SUN for ABC, Larry the Cable Guy’s Christmas Spectacular, The George Jones Show, The Statler Brothers Show, Willie Nelson & Friends, The ABC Walt Disney Christmas Parade, the series On the Record With Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Olivia Newton John, Dolly Parton and more.  Cindy is currently the producer of the Musicians Hall of Fame Awards and Ray Stevens CabaRay Nashville for Public Television.

Cindy is honored to be NashCamp’s founder and now assistant to the new director. “The rewards form NashCamp are immense, both personally and professionally”, says Sinclair. “Our biggest success story is country superstar Dierks Bentley”, who was a guitar student in 1998. Through Cindy’s contacts, NashCamper students have been placed on The Grand Old Opry and major network television specials.
