A seasoned music camp instructor, Bill joins fiddle camp to teach harmony singing, lead jams, and demonstrate how to play banjo/fiddle tunes.  Every fiddle camp needs a banjo player!

Bill Evans brings a deep knowledge, intense virtuosity and contagious passion to all things banjo. His new book Bluegrass Banjo for Dummies is set for an April 2015 release. He has produced eight instructional DVDs and books for Mel Bay, AcuTab, Homespun Tapes and the Murphy Method and has taught thousands of students in at over two hundred camps and workshops. Bill has appeared with everyone from the Dry Branch Fire Squad to the San Francisco Symphony and on A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. His most recent CD is Fine Times At Fletcher’s House, a fiddle and banjo duet project recorded with Fletcher Bright. His 2012 CD In Good Company topped folk and bluegrass charts and he has mentored many of today’s leading progressive players.
